- Registration As a Seller
If you wish to start selling on our platform, the first and the most necessary is to complete your seller registration. A registered seller on Shops Basket could be an individual, a proprietorship firm, a partnership firm or a private limited company as well.
In each case, you will have to complete our Seller Registration Form and upload your documents as required. We will need the following documents to accept your application as a seller:
- ID Proof (any valid government document)
- Address Proof (any valid government document)
- PAN Card
- Cancelled Cheque
- GST Certificate
- Listing of Products
Product listing on our online marketplace is very easy and is not a time-consuming process. You can add your products with images and details, so that customers can get the complete information about the product. In Shops Basket, we have arranged all products under well-defined categories. You should list your products under the appropriate category, so that customers can easily find them.
Product Management: Once products are listed on our platform, you can also update the product details, price, image or any other information as per your convenience. This gives you the freedom of maintaining the relevance of your products in the eyes of the consumer.
- Shipping of Products
Shops Basket enjoys partnerships with the reputed logistics companies and delivers products across the length and breadth of the country. As a registered seller, you get all logistics support without any hassles, and your products are delivered throughout India. Once you receive an order, and pack the product, the logistics partner picks it up for further operations. The product is delivered to the buyer as per the scheduled delivery time. You will arrange packaging material and if there is any packaging cost, it will be borne by you only.
Shipping Cost: The shipping cost will be borne by the seller. You can include the shipping fee in the product price or can charge it extra.
The payments are collected by Shops Basket on behalf of the seller. The online marketplace has integrated secure and user-friendly payment gateway(s) for buyers to make payments against the items they purchase on Shops Basket. After deducting a small administrative cost, the payment is transferred in the account of the seller. The cost charged by us may depend upon the mode of payment chosen by the buyer. In case of Cash on Delivery (COD), the administrative cost would be higher.
